O joyous day!
I had a great day today. I finally worked up the courage to approach my boss -- well, finally worked up the courage on a day he was there! -- about going part time and working off-site. It sounds like this is really going to be doable. So I'm awfully enthused about that and thanking God that it looks like things may work out for me to stay sane without having to leave the job just yet.

i still can't believe you managed to swing that... i'll do my best to try not to be bitter [towards you anyway, all bets are off on a certain someone] if you do your best to just enjoy the hell out of your situation. deal?
also, what email should i send my resume to? you have about 6 billion.
Belated thanks for the comments. I really appreciate the support, but I also feel really bad that everyone's experience hasn't been so positive. It's frustrating to feel like your colleagues are being treated inconsistently.
